Tax Agent Services Disclosure Statement
Registered Tax Agent Status Eastgate Enterprises Pty Ltd is a registered tax agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA). Our Commitment to the Code of Professional Conduct Our tax agent services are provided in accordance with the Tax Agent Services (Code of Professional Conduct) Determination 2024 (the Determination), which sets out the professional and ethical standards we must uphold. This includes core principles such as:
- Acting honestly and with integrity;
- Complying with taxation laws in our professional and personal affairs;
- Acting in your best interests and providing independent advice;
- Maintaining confidentiality of your information (except where legally required to disclose);
- Ensuring competence through ongoing professional development;
- Properly supervising any staff or outsourced providers; and
- Implementing quality management systems for our services.
We confirm that:
- We have not breached the Code of Professional Conduct or any provision of the TASA.
- We are not subject to any TPB investigations, sanctions, or conditions.
- We do not employ any disqualified persons or entities under the TASA.
- No principals or key personnel have been convicted of offences involving dishonesty, fraud, or serious tax matters.
Significant Events Disclosure Under section 45(1)(d) of the Determination, we must disclose any prescribed events occurring since 1 July 2022 that could influence your decision to engage or continue with our services. - Suspension or termination of our registration.
- Bankruptcy or external administration.

- Rectifying any false or misleading statements made to you, the ATO, or TPB in a timely manner.

Your Responsibilities as a Client To enable us to provide accurate and timely services, you must:
- Provide complete, accurate, and timely information and records;
- Be truthful in all dealings with us, the ATO, and TPB;
- Cooperate with our requests and meet agreed deadlines;
- Comply with taxation and related laws (e.g., superannuation and employment obligations); and
- Notify us promptly of any changes in your circumstances that may affect your tax affairs.
Failure to meet these may impact our ability to represent you and could result in service termination.
Other Matters That May Influence Your Engagement
- Scope of Services: Our advice is based on information you provide and does not include full verification unless specified in our engagement terms. We are not licensed for financial product advice (e.g., investments or insurance); referrals to licensed advisers will be made if needed.
- Fees and Conflicts: Fees are fixed or time-based and not outcome-contingent. Any referral commissions will be disclosed upfront. We act for multiple clients and manage conflicts per professional standards.
- Technology and Outsourcing: We use secure third-party tools and may outsource administrative tasks (e.g., data entry), all under our supervision and privacy protocols.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution If you have concerns about our services:
- Contact us in writing at info@eeaus.au with full details. We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 14 days, involving an independent reviewer where possible.
